Yaroslav Vasinskyi, also known as Rabotnik, a member of the ransomware group REvil, has been sentenced to 13 years and seven months in jail for his involvement in more than 2,500 ransomware attacks. These attacks resulted in demands exceeding $700 million in ransom payments. The Department of Justice revealed this on Wednesday.
